FURRY CATS

This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Furry Cats ("the app", "we") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short and honest — we collect the minimum needed to run the game.

What we collect

If you play without an account: your progress (best score, unlocked cats, settings) is stored only on your device. We collect nothing.

If you create an account (optional):

• Email address and password — used only to sign you in. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your password in readable form.
• Nickname — the public name you choose, shown on the leaderboard.
• Best score — shown on the public leaderboard next to your nickname.
• Game progress — unlocked cats and achievements, so your progress can sync across devices.

What we do NOT collect

• No location data.
• No contacts, photos, files, camera, or microphone access.
• No advertising identifiers — the game shows no ads.
• No analytics or tracking of your behaviour.
• No data is sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

Where your data is stored

Account data (email, nickname, score, progress) is stored securely in Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), operated by Google LLC on Google Cloud infrastructure. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). You can read Google's privacy documentation at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

How your data is used

• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To display your nickname and best score on the world leaderboard.
• To sync your game progress across devices.

That's all. We do not use your data for anything else.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time — either instantly inside the app (Sign in → Delete account) or by emailing us. Full instructions are on our Account & Data Deletion page. Email requests are processed within 30 days.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages. Creating an account is optional and requires an email address. We do not knowingly collect more data from children than described above. If you are a parent and want your child's account removed, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
